The Wireless Messaging Protocol (WMP) Server is a Java-based server that runs in both Windows and Unix environments. The server is a platform for handling high-volume SMS messaging. It is highly scalable to allow multiple simultaneous incoming and outgoing SMS messages over several different protocols. Messages can be routed using a complex set of routing rules including carrier-recognition based on destination addresses (mobile telephone numbers). The server supports customer accounting and connectivity settings. Reporting and statistics are available as well.
